I understand you need support for the game, but it feels immensely disappointing to have four of the seven playable characters locked behind a cash pay wall. I never got the opportunity to earn the gems to buy them, nor play them back when the original team built the game. Another thing I miss is being able to choose which dungeon I can enter. Especially with the quests system, it's near impossible to complete the one I have active without being able to choose to go to the chilly caverns.
The main glitches have been fix, majorly improving the game. It's still not as good as the original, but it's much better now. Also, I think the tutorial needs to be revamped: the demon taking the 3 element doesn't make sense now that you can start with three elements unlike the original game. it also doesn't teach the player about holding down an element to gain a shield for said element.
It's unfortunate that I can't rate this higher, because this game is unlike any other on mobile, insanely fun and addicting. Does that mean this game is worth a total of $20 in purchases to experience each unique character? Not in the state it's in now. (You can earn gems in game to unlock 2 extra characters, runs you 700 gems IIRC.) The game can be unforgiving at times, and a good amount of the time unfairly so, especially when the movement controls bug out. At least the Ads aren't intrusive.
The game would start out very slow but will get faster and you will be able to get further once you save enough to unlock new characters and upgrade your stat. the game has a great developer team that is willing to work with you if you send them an email addressing the matter with your account. The only thing I would complain about after playing for a while is the lack of ways to spend the gold currencies once you return to the camp as there is a limit for the lucky wheel (10k gold/day).
