The absolute best free music app I could find. I highly recommend it to everyone. Keep in mind this is for people who have music files downloaded onto their phones. If you don't mind doing a little extra work to add the music to your phone then everything else is easy and ready to play! The app is awesome about customizing and making your own playlists and editing the songs you have on it. It is the best app for music in my opinion. Also, the app does has ads, but they are never invasive.
This is a fantastic replacement to Google Play Music, it's simple, and relatively easy to utilize, although if you struggle to find audio files it can be frustrating. I liked the app well enough that this is the only app in the three years I've had my current phone to reach my quick access bar, replacing Google Music. Also, suggestion for those who want to download music onto their phone; if you use a computer, you can save it to your google drive and then download the Mp3 using google drive.
Great "lightweight" music player that works well offline. Two minor suggestions: 1. Allow sorting by two criteria. For example, sort first by "artist" and then by "album". 2. Keep songs in the same order on an album, rather than sorting them alphabetically. The old Google play music player had both these features, but it was retired. YouTube music and Amazon music player both annoyingly require online access and have a ridiculous amount of advertising. This is the best "offline" player.
This app has honestly been great for playing music files. Has a built in editor for clipping music down, equilizer, and autoadds songs as soon as they download/add to your device. My biggest complaint is that it will sometimes crash out of nowhere- but I don't know if that is because of the app itself or another app I have running at the time. I also wish I could sort by date added. But otherwise, fantastic!
