The game has potential. I was immediately turned off when I was stuck in a long ad(video then demo). Then I got stuck in a loop for a minute because it would not let me close the add and go back to the game. Kept sending me to the google storepage or the demo. uninstalled 5 minutes in.
Fun game, not as deep as it seems at first. Lots of different units, fun character design and attributes. The central mechanic of the game gets a little boring, though, especially after 350+ levels, maybe some more diverse territory and maybe a rolling/scrolling element would switch it up a little. Hope they're still working on it and I'll definitely come back to it at some point if they are.
The overall gameplay is fun, interesting and unique but I found I had to re-grind stages dozens of times to progress at one point. Without reinstalling the game I couldn't say which level it started at. I also found in the overworld at this same point I was only able to beat 1 of the locations. Response for Black Bears. I edited my overall score since Google doesn't take into consideration the sub-scores for the overall rating. I also edited my review to be more helpful.
This is honestly a really fun game, but the monetization is so egregious that it's hard to progress. Pvp? Yeah right, you will get destroyed by all the people that have pumped money into it. All the classes are locked behind a currency that takes ages to get, and the best ones are locked behind a hard pay wall. You can't even see the basic damage stats of your team with out paying for a monthly membership.
