This is the past, so don't forget to add some touches of traditional culture! Features like temples and gaming halls can give your city a lot of personality, especially when arranged in harmony with the surrounding environment. You might end up attracting tourists to the town, who will move in if they like it enough.
It's not all fun and games in the mists of history. Sometimes ghost, demons, and other baddies will come to attack your city. You'll have to summon your own Guardian Spirits to banish the evil ones and keep your townsfolk safe. Consider your spirits' abilities and placement for the best effects - strategy is the key word!

A well planned city gets rewarded and can grow. Development leads to more opportunities. I wish I had downloaded this Kairosoft game sooner! Finally more of a simulation and less of having to place buildings perfectly just to profit for any hope of expansion. The mini games are worth the time to figure out how to win to get bonus prizes. I'm trying to decide how to layout my next city to boost leisure.
Not as fun as Edo Towns. The fighting units being separate from your villagers adds an additional grind for resource and there's not a lot of motivation to do the tower defense fights. It's just not as engaging. I also wished they would change jobs on their own because it was annoying getting max level pop ups every 2 seconds. I played until I got the kairo statue and then didn't want to play anymore.
I love Kairosoft games but I actually found this one pretty disappointing. It doesn't make as much sense as their best games. Boosting the buildings and resident scores is limited because you can only use so many items before they're completely ineffective. I hate that. It If they just changed that, it would at least be worth four stars. The fighting is mediocre at best. Just not what I play these games for. I wouldn't mind it so much if the town management made more sense.
Very fun game! I enjoy this game very much. I just wish the main scoring in overall stats didn't end at year 12. I think the scoring should go to year 20 or 25 to give longer to develop a higher score. Overall, either way, the game is great, and it gives incentive to keep playing to try to beat your previous stats.
