I've played a few rounds now and I enjoy it. Some improvement in my opinion is it needs more genres. We have a lot of of themes and that's cool. I like the various actors you can buy. It's s good system and I'm slowly playing thru the various games they have. When we have multiple studios it turns to semi chaos. We should be able to see which studio is wanting a place to film etc
Yes the game starts out slow, but that is only because there is a lot to wrap your head around. But once you get past 6 year on the game it becomes easier because you can truly understand the play and work out how to beat it now. Though I will say, forget the quest on the first run though on the game and just fouces on making movies, good or bad, it doesn't matter. When the game ends and you can start round two, all those movies you make before makes the game much easier to build you up.
Not the best kairosoft game, here's why: Dialogue bubbles pop up every couple of seconds that force you to dismiss them (you can't disable them), this happens through the entire game. You feel like you have less control over your operation, with the characters skills being less customizable. It seems you don't have much influence other than selecting starting parameters, and growing your studio feels pretty railroady. Certain stats are never explained.
It's a simple, time killer game. I however have to agree with other users who have mentioned a bug that eliminates your profits when you add more theaters. You can go from make a billion per release to barely scrapping together 115,000 per release. That in itself isn't necessarily bad until you consider that almost all the higher end (I.E better) actors/actresses are between 100,000 and 300,000, effectively making it impossible to progress forward. Wouldn't be bad if the bug was patched.
