This is a detective story where you are investigating a mass grave of young women that were murdered. The writing is decent but this story was different in the way that it functioned. There were no stats and the different endings seemed random. I suspect the investigation itself has little to no bearing on the actual ending. Essentially the ending is randomized. I enjoyed the dark storyline with a classic whodunnit plot. This story has a lot of content in it that lends well to replayability.
It's been a while since I read a story where I was engaged enough to be fearful of failing. All the characters have secrets that you must work to uncover, and your suspicions can change from one moment to the next. Even if you take the game aspects out, it's still a damn good detective story.
Useless ass of a game. The story is very interesting. But the game is a dead game. No clues. And just random endings. You basically play the game over and over and be surprised of a different ending every time. Ass game and ass author.
It's been too long since I've last read a good story from HG. And this was phenomenal. Hooked me right from the beginning. People like different things. I don't care about the replay value, I care about the story, plot and characters. Great game for someone looking for those things.
