The Way Walkers: University epic continues in the second part of the Tar'citadel trilogy by author J. Leigh!
Picking up right where you left off in part one, the city and school are still in shock from the mysterious attacks, and the question on everyone's mind is...who was behind them, and why? Choose for yourself: will you be drawn into the hunt to discover the truth, or simply try to have a normal life in this city of Talents?
Will you excel in your Ability classes, and survive the complex hallways and their many magical surprises? Can you piece together the clues, and begin to discover the truth behind Illyan Giesi? I love this series but we've been waiting a decade for part 3. That's just too long. It was also very short, very linear and with little immersion, compared to pt1. Classes have no effect on your abilities, inexplicably. A fault shared with pt1. University life should have been fleshed out more, rather than merely foisting new 'friends', that we have no real connection to, onto us. Very little time passes and nothing much happens. Sem is now the main character, rather than the PC.
I love this Choice game! I really wish they would come out with the 3rd installment! I'm dying to find out if the woman is guilty, or what happens to the vampire! Very engaging story and characters. I've played it numerous times with all the different "ways", hmm, except the healer...gotta go, new game to start!
Love the game. But feel like some of the ways aren't really getting used much. I find that it seems like while your character is going through all this he isn't learning like he should or that some of the abilities aren't beimg used in their full potential. Like being able to see the future qhy can't you use that if the your character gets into a fight, like a quick glimpse into it. Also why can't your character be a specialised mage like Sem.
I love love love this game! I've played it so many times, different paths of magic, different races native to this world, or just different choices! Each time it's like a new game. But when will volume/game/ come out? When I asked a few years ago, I was told the author was working on a book, I think, and WWU 3 would be out in a year or so. That was at least 4 years ago. Is it in the works? Thanks! I do love this game!
