USELESS! DO NOT GET THIS APP! The QR code barely works. It never scans right; you'll be standing in front of the turnstile for several minutes looking like a complete fool as you block an entry gate trying to get the scanner to work. It "works" to board trains to the suburbs, but might not work at suburban stations, so you'll be stuck depending on a station agent to let you exit the station, then you'll have to buy a paper ticket anyway to get back to Moscow. INFURIATING!!
Really slow. Every time you open this app, it starts loading updates to the map and won't let you find routes until it loads all the updates, which takes up to 5-10 minutes - not crucial unless you are going late, ofc, but still frustrating. Also, for some reason, if you start typing the name of the station in Russian while language set on English, it does not work in this app: to search for Frunzenskaya I need to type F... and not Ф... which is just dumb?? Shame on you, Mosgortrans, shame on ya
Graphic bugs and the inability to change the language of the application worsen the experience of the application as a tourist, I understand that there are no such signs at the stations, but you can duplicate the names of the stations (K For example, the Serbian name and the Russian name for visual understanding, in addition to understanding how many stations I will pass)Also missing is the ability to move video clips with a transfer to the foreground so that they can be viewed immediately
Became bloated af and basic functionality to remotely top up card no longer works. Card is not properly processed. Not surprised as it was becoming more and more useless with every iteration. Thank god Moscow transport app is not such a junk and topping up works there.
