App has a well-laid out UI and interaction flows, makes it super easy and convenient to book train travel, with a decent set of options for payments. However, the app lets you book trains that are cancelled without telling you until AFTER you pay. If you bought a non-SJ journey you can't even get an automatic refund even though their system clearly knows the train is cancelled.
So absurd that you can't book a non-table seat on SJ intercity trains. All other kinds of preferences are available, window, aisle, upstairs, but the one important one is missing. You can ask for being placed by the table, but you can't ask not to be placed there. 6 trips in a row I havd been placed by a table now, and I have tried all the preferences and they all put you by a table. And no preference puts you by a table.
The worse IT I have seem in my life. does not inform you that the trip is multimodal. It generates unfeasible schedules with no time between trips. The English option does not work in the VRU. It generates trip codes that do not match the dashboard. It is hot mess. It fragments the trip in too many subservices. It overloads the user. And I detected this in one single trip. I demand a refund.
I initially gave this app 5 stars and some good feedback. Now I'm giving it a 1 star because once I joined the SJ Prio I could not add my most recent journey!! I followed all the instructions, added the ticket number, tried through my email, mobile number, nothing worked. I got a little anxious to begin with as I thought I had lost my ticket. I then logged out, and there it was. I don't know if this is done purposely so as not to add points to my card or what exactly.
