Everyone was complaining about Uber's fixed pricing, but now they're scamming drivers with 'Taxi Saver,' charging a 25% commission. I opted out, and in three days I only got three trip offers, despite being a Gold driver with 5 stars and 90 points. This app is a joke. You can't make any money with this app anymore.
I did except the job by mistake, that's why I've to cancel it. And freenow block me for 24 hours. However, once freenow blocks me, I get a very good job from another taxi app. Freenow is not the only one.
This FreeNow '300m' pick-up is a disaster, sometimes I'm beside the passenger but FreeNow says I haven't arrived, other times I'm 2km away and it says I've arrived. I have to tell passenger to cancel and use UBER instead. Why doesn't FreeNow just delete this faulty feature... 😡
pretty disgusting to be taking 10% off the metered fare when taxi drivers overheads are going through the roof and then increasing the commission to 24%. perhaps the faceless wonders behind the app should spend more time consulting drivers before imposing these ludicrous ideas. edit after your response: you have increased the commission from 18% to 24% to cover this discount. So yes we are paying for it. You should not be reducing meter fares to passengers full stop.
