Frequently stops playing/drops livestream. When it picks up again it inserts an ad. Sometimes I wonder if it is on purpose to play more ads. It has pretty much been this way for 10 years. I come back to Tunein once in a while but inevitably I get frustrated enough to ditch it again. Does not matter if I am on WiFi or on 5G.
Highly Intrusive Commercials This app covers many options. However, the commercials are so frequent you miss parts of the broadcast. There is also a music that plays instead of a commercial that interferes with play. You miss more broadcast. I have very good connections so it is not buffering on my end. I think they want you to buy the premium app. There is a wide variety of things to listen to, is the only reason I stay. I have reached my limit and will be looking for an alternative.
Borderline unusable. it would be one thing if the only ads they played appeared over the broadcast ads, but no, you could listen to a bunch of broadcast ads. Then, when you're programming resumes, tune in will invade with more ads. also anytime you click on something ads play. i get selling ad space in order to keep the app free. But this is ridiculous, and there are better ways to do it
It used to be good and I used it all the time. Now the ads have become intolerable. It used to be that you got ads occasionally, but only when you switched stations, and not very time when you switch stations. Then they made it play a block of thee ads EVERY TIME you switch stations, making browsing stations almost impossible. And now it sometimes plays ads WHEN YOU'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF LISTENING TO A STATION, so you miss part of the show.
