Breath Control is a simple, thoughtful breathing exercise app designed to help you find calm, energy, or focus – whenever you need it.

Built-in techniques
Five guided breathing methods, each with a different purpose:

• Box Breathing – A grounding technique used by athletes and first responders
• 4-7-8 Method – A deeply calming pattern for winding down
• Energise – A quick pick-me-up when you need a boost
• Pranayama – Alternate nostril breathing from the yoga tradition
• Lion's Breath – Release tension with a powerful exhale

Create your own
Build completely custom breathing patterns. Add steps, set your own timing, choose between inhale, hold, and exhale – and save them for next time.

Guided with care
• Spoken cues optionally talk you through every step
• 15+ sounds to choose from – chimes, harps, gentle clicks
• Haptic feedback keeps you on rhythm
• Four visual styles: Circle, Donut, Wave, and Orb

Sometimes you just need to watch a cute lion breathe. Four animated animals breathing along with you – adjust the speed, set it to auto-rotate, and just... breathe.

Hi, I'm Brian. I built Breath Control during a time when stress was starting to show up in my body, not just my head. I was dealing with health issues tied to stress and breathing exercises were one of the few things that actually helped, but I couldn't find an app that was simple enough to just use without friction.

So I built my own. No ads, no tracking, and no pushy subscriptions* – just the tool I wished I'd had. If you're here because things feel heavy right now, I get it. I hope this helps, even a little.

This is a one-person project and I genuinely care about making it better. If something doesn't work for you, or you have an idea – reach me anytime through the feedback option in Settings.

*At the moment everything is free, and while I may introduce a paid tier in the future, I promise it will be accessible and not required to still get a lot out of the app.
