In This War Of Mine you do not play as an elite soldier, rather a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers. The game provides an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle.
The pace of This War of Mine is imposed by the day and night cycle. During the day snipers outside stop you from leaving your refuge, so you need to focus on maintaining your hideout: crafting, trading and taking care of your survivors. At night, take one of your civilians on a mission to scavenge through a set of unique locations for items that will help you stay alive.
Make life-and-death decisions driven by your conscience. Try to protect everybody from your shelter or sacrifice some of them for longer-term survival. During war, there are no good or bad decisions; there is only survival. The sooner you realize that, the better.

Edito en 2024: como muchos comentan hay un error que hace que se reinicie el juego al comenzar batallas o ser descubierto o morir, también incluso a veces aleatoriamente. Edito en 2026: ham solucionado los Bugs y rodo funciona correctamente ✅️ Juegazo! Hay que probarlo, es algo diferente y muy entretenido! Falta que lo actualicen, añadan cosillas para que los que hayamos pagado por este juego, podamos disfrutarlo de diferentes maneras, con algunas mejoras, más personajes, mapas, etc...
Bueno. Con la última actualización ya se pueden utilizar las armas de fuego, aunque el juego sigue teniendo errores que te devuelven a la pantalla de inicio. Esto sucede, a veces, cuando te oyen los NPCs hostiles y mucho más probable si no se activa la casilla "aniversary edition" en la selección de personajes. Activa esto y utiliza el sigilo, es la mejor opción. Se echa de menos contenido adicional.
De los mejores juegos que hay en móvil. Yo jamás, en toda mi vida, pensé que compraría uno aquí, y fue así hasta que lo hice en consola. Imaginar como de bueno me debió parecer para que lo volviera a comprar esta vez aquí. A día de hoy sigo sin arrepentirme. El apartado artístico, jugable, gráfico (siendo de móvil) y el soundtrack son una completa delicia, sobretodo este último que te mete mucho en la situación. En combates a veces se crashea, es lo único malo que puedo decir.
Lo mejor que se puede comprar aquí. Edito: Con algo de suerte podré descargar de algún lugar una versión que funcione tras haber comprado esta. Ya no es que tenga algún bug que otro o se congele la aplicación. Es que cualquier partida que inicie deja a los personajes atascados entre plantas y/o sin poder interactuar con los elementos de la casa. Imposible de jugar desde el minuto 1 en la actual versión. Jugadlo en PC o consola. No parece que nadie esté cuidando la versión de Android.
