"Transomnie" is the gamebook the app is based on. It's written by Emmanuel Quaireau and illustrated by Elodie Marze. It was awarded "Yaztromo" for best gamebook in France of 2010. "Yaztromo" is the biggest annual competition for gamebooks held for nearly a decade.

Extremely well done app with beautiful graphics! But unfortunately the story is terribly boring and uninteresting. I played 40 minutes and gave up. Later I read that it is based in Lovecraft storys, which to me is boring and idiotic. Quite different from the terror of Clive Baker, which is excellent!
