ADHD symptoms in children and adolescents affect behavior and are characterized by moderate or severe distraction, short attention spans, fidgeting and restlessness, emotional instability, and impulsive behaviors. This disorder can negatively affect the academic and social life of the child or adolescent with ADHD, reducing their performance in school, and hindering their social relationships.
