ScamBounce is a user-selected default Phone app and default SMS/MMS app built to help protect you and your family from suspicious calls, scam texts, unsafe links, and fraud attempts.

When you choose ScamBounce as your Phone app, it provides a dialer, incoming-call screen, call history, caller ID, spam detection, call blocking, trusted contacts, and scam-risk warnings before and during calls.

When you choose ScamBounce as your SMS/MMS app, it provides a Messages inbox, conversations, message composition, SMS/MMS sending and receiving, and message safety warnings for suspicious links, urgent requests, verification-code scams, and other common fraud patterns.

ScamBounce only uses SMS and Call Log permissions for these user-facing Phone and Messages features after you choose ScamBounce as the applicable Android default app. If ScamBounce is no longer the default Phone or SMS/MMS app, those restricted features are no longer used.

ScamBounce does not sell call logs, SMS/MMS content, contact-matching data, or blocked/trusted number lists. SMS and Call Log data are not used for advertising.
