Embark on epic roguelike adventures to explore a tabletop-inspired world and discover its secrets. Abalon combines turn-based tactical combat with deck-building strategy. COMMAND LIKE A GOD
Command from a top-down perspective that gives you ultimate control over battlefield tactics. Your characters look up to you (literally) as their god to indicate they are ready to receive your orders. Commands are intuitive: Drag cards to cast spells. Drag warriors to enemies to attack. Drag healers to injured allies to heal. Play fast and fluid with 3-5 minute battles and without having to wait for animations. You can even undo failed attacks to try different approaches. Endless possibilities are at your fingertips!
OUTWIT YOUR OPPONENTS
Defeat overwhelming odds by mastering tactical positions, backstabbing, feinting counterattacks, knocking enemies into allies to trigger combos, leveraging traps for bonus damage and exploiting spell synergies to manipulate the battlefield in your favor. Abalon is deceptively simple to learn with an unrivaled depth of mechanics that are challenging to master. Position matters. Facing matters. Terrain matters.
BUILD THE PERFECT DECK
Choose compelling characters like squirrel-hurling druids, menacing liche kings, psychic lizard wizards and steampunk time-traveling rats. Abalon has over 500 cards including 225 hand-crafted characters with distinct strengths and weaknesses. Select your favorite summoner, build your team and construct a deck of 20 cards. Abalon differs from other role-playing games by removing grindy leveling systems in favor of fixed character stats and abilities and interchangeable gear-based upgrades. Use everyone you have and experiment to create unique strategies.
UNLEASH CREATIVE COMBOS
Combine your units and spells to create game-breaking synergies: Hurl a squirrel at your opponent and command your critter to bite them in the butt. Cast Animal Growth to mutate it into a super hulk squirrel. Then use Breed to multiply it into an army of hulk squirrels and decimate your opponent! Discover something new each time you play.

Explore an ever-changing fantasy world filled with colorful woodlands, frozen peaks, barren deserts, and perilous dungeons. i am having heaps of fun!!! im not the biggest fan of how cards refresh, even getting one back per battle would feel a bit more fluid. only just finished chapter 1. // game is really forgiving which is what makes it so fun for me finished my first run. // if there was a way to create a favorites filter for equipment that im constantly using, or a 'recent' filter, something that is easier to navigate.
A fun mix of styles - RPG or Dungeon Crawler exploration, with battles fought with CCG style cards plus board game style tactical movement. Works pretty well and kept me engaged for quite a while, and was unusually easy to pick up quickly and figure out what to do. There are a lot of interesting options in combat, although sometimes the multiplicity of keywords and overlapping effect interactions gets hard to track.
I just started playing and its got me hooked so far. We will see how the game progresses but as of right now, its super fun and definitely makes you think about troop positioning and when to play certain cards and when not to. I also love how it's a mix of overhead map exploration and turn-based battles enhanced by cards. It's the first time I've played a game that uses turn-based battles in this way and its fun. I'm only on the 2nd map so I may update once I get further into the game.
Abalon has to be the mobile game that transformed what's possible with mobile gaming for me, in a new kind of renaissance. "Quality of Life" features abound in this game that has a small download size footprint, but endless replayability, friendly accessibility features like Undo, lush graphics, rich gameplay, and online leaderboards you'll surprise yourself when ranking. Google recommended this to me as an indie and I rather play this than Balatro, Dead Cells, or Monopoly Go. All this at $0.00.
