Would be a higher rating, but the app does not allow one to manually add (i.e. type-in) story Tags to the Include or Exclude lists in the search filter functions, very much unlike the full site; you can only use the pre-selected lists, which are based on the most-recurring tags. There's no way to deep-filter stories without manually crushing through hundreds of tags, and potentially blocking out wanted stories and not the unwanted ones.
I like the app, but don't love it. can't seem to make the audio work. some of the buttons cover other buttons. can't figure out how to follow stories or people. when I resume my story, it shoots back over to new stories and I have to hunt for what I was reading. when I get a notification for a story and hot the link, it takes me to new stories (and the story i want isn't there). Lots of potential. Will be great once it's fixed!
Honestly it's a decent app I've been using it on and off for a while now it's just what bothers me is you have the dumbest stuff under a paywall. I love how there's rarely an ad but to have something as simple as a reading list, for example, locked under premium seems a bit much since it's usually a free feature.
Occasionally it updates and you can't read the story you were in the middle of, but I can still find and read it on the website. I love that you can change the background colors and font to make it easier on the eyes. I wish the filters changed and updated like the do on the website, after clicking on tag that I don't want, it doesn't refresh and show more tags. But overall it's very good for being "unofficial"
