The app works but it's a usability nightmare. Planning a trip is slow when searching for stations, no recent search history, and the app always returns to the home screen when you switch away. As others mentioned, any money left on a card when you are done with it is basically forfeit so don't load the card with anything more than you need.
On Samsung Fold7 it loses the journey progress view completely if you open/close the screen, so you can't see where you are or what your next stops are anymore, even after reopening/closing. But at least it still gives notifications as you approach your stops. EDIT thanks for your response, feedback submitted.
logged me out of the app. I forgot my password and couldn't get back in so it told me to use my opal card but never worked. Even when i tried resetting my password nothing worked. Then I lost my opal card. To get back into the app it kept telling me to use my opal card that I lost? LIKE HELLO. poorly designed, there needs to be a better way. After losing my opal card I had no way to block it or transfer money. Even worse, it's linked to my debit card. kept going in circles, no improvement at all
I use GrapheneOS, my ROM is MORE secure than most phones, it makes absolutely no sense that the app refuses to work because my phone doesn't have a locked bootloader, this is just atrocious, nonsensical, the app just does not work at all for now reason other than you just don't let it work, there is no need for this.
