I'm not sure who this is for! The math is basically "X+3=Y" and gives several numbers to fill in the blanks. It goes up to multiplication and division. For little kids, algebra is too hard, and for bigger kids who can do the math would find the rest of the game too easy. Why isn't there a basic "2+3=_" option, so they can work on addition and subtraction fundamentals?
For a 6 year old, it's completely pointless to have the game timed. This should be an option to turn off. I would change my rating to 5 stars if this becomes optional. What keeps happening is my child who is concerned about earning as many points as possible pauses the game after each problem, so as to have the time to solve it, but then can't remember the problem, as it's blocked by the pause screen! -- this is a huge design flaw. Timed math for beginning learners is counterproductive.
Is the tablet version different from the others? The last island of Sea 1 is zoomed in so close, I can't see how to get to the key so I can complete the level. I've tried changing the app's aspect ratio and paying for the game. Also tried downloading the different versions of the app, but Google Play kept giving me the tablet version. The only "tips" video I could find had an expanded view that my version didn't have and skipped over finishing the level to move onto Sea 2.
a good game overall,my children loved it but when they came up to me asking to buy the full version for €4.09 I was appalled I paid it for them and they enjoyed it so much they spent an hour completing it €4.00 for only an hour of education and gameplay but my kids loved it and the math is not too easy but not too hard for my children
