your ads freeze (ruining the game I'm playing instead of make things more fun). playing your actual game is fun for 3-5 stages, then things get so hard it's impossible to beat without investing months in resources to level, 1 stage a month, becomes one stage a season 3-4 ! months. so really get to level 12 in 2 years. yes that sounds better than Mario Bros
This is a slick and complex TD game. Graphics are nice, most menus are intuitive. The downside it is ad-heavy. If you wish to exercise every option in a mission, you are watching 15 ads. And that's before watching an ad-per-wave to get a bonus award. Of course, they push you to spend 12.99 to get rid of all ads from the go. I'm glad I didn't. At level 16, it becomes pay to win. Cash Shop gems become necessary to get upgrades to move forward.
The classic bait and switch. Riddled with micro-transactions and ads. When you pay to get no more ads, you still see theirs, and there are a lot of them. You get free gems, but not enough to make it worth it - still a constant grind after $13. There are even loot boxes for equipment, that you have to pay for. Also, the towers you want like AOE slow, you have to pay to get. My biggest problem is they ask for a review and if you put 1 star, it doesn't register it for you and keeps asking for it.
Unless you plan to pay $14 to remove ads before you even know if you like this game you will be bombarded with ads. most ads I've seen in a game in a long time. The game play is ok but there is one massive flaw with the UI. when you select a hero in battle, a panel comes up with its stats. That panel blocks 1/3 if your screen. So if in the heat of battle you are trying to quickly move a hero to a weak spot in your defense, that panel comes up blocking your ability to move your hero there.
