I really like this game so far, but I do have a couple problems. First, it sounds like the VAs for the pilots have some AI voice lines, which I personally don't like. And the same factory/storage buildings from the other warplanes games are used here to. I'd love to see them modernized. Also, I would love to have some new environments to fly in, along with some variety in them, such as a desert with a canyon in it, or snowy mountains. Other than that, great game!
I'd say it's a 8/10 why not a 10? because it doesn't give a type of nostalgia. but also the camera feels stretched and a bit close to the aircraft. tho really great game! oh and btw when I move the joystick to the enemy. the pointer to shoot goes back to the center unlike the ww2 dogfight. so Id say you could fix it to stay in that position for more easier shots.
Fun game, I do understand its new, but some things are incorrect, such as the A-1 Skyraider aircraft, The A-1 skyraider was used in the korean and veitnam wars, while the one in the game is known as the OA-1K Skyraider II named after the A-1 Skyraider. On some naval missions including friendly vessels, they will shoot you even if marked as friendly. Its also weird because you have the ability to shoot the friendly vessels back and destroy them. But besides some small details AMAZING GAME.
In my opinion, I'd say it felt... Rather rushed, very mundane. Controls were a bit weird to get used to even though I've played the 1st and 2nd installment in the series of Warplanes, rockets are a bit flinky and I just use the mini gun half the time. Furthermore, the nations seemed to just be removed, and instead be randomized? And the general is just a JPEG of a US commander, it feels like a lot of the game was just a bit rushed... But otherwise, it would've been a fun game to play.
