About This App
bitDungeonIII is a 2d action adventure game with rogue-lite elements. Randomly generated overworld and dungeons. Make allies with other players or kill them for their precious inventory items. Discover random items that greatly enhance and affect your character. Save a world that can't be saved.

Permadeath. You get one soul and only one chance to retrieve it when you die. Killing Bosses also grant souls.
Randomly pre-generated overworld, dungeons, secrets, items and humanoid npcs.
Online play using P2P networking,co-op and pvp.
Each weapon type has a unique power attack and stat scaling.
Level up based on which weapon you use. Change weapons to start leveling up that weapon type going towards your general level.

I take back my last review. I gave it another chance and figured out how to make the controller function work. There's a variety of weapons and armor and they do show up on your character, so that's always a plus. Great movement speed. Though I play with a controller and TV, I do suggest adding a virtual joystick. The controller's joystick makes it smooth and fluid, and if I wanted to play this on the go, I wouldn't want to tap to move. Anyway, it's pretty fun. Almost wndless replay value too.
Fun, but needs more.Love the combat 5/5 for that. The controls are great, but the menu/inventory is irritating. Wish the game itself had a bit more to offer. Just slaying everything gets a bit repetitive/boring, and the quest system isn't so great. Would be rlly cool if you could customize your base and world more, maybe with crafting/foraging ect? .. this game has a lot of promise, the combat really is masterful. But that's all there is :( I really hope you guys will add more features.
It's fun...I think. It's not autoplay which is a plus. There's just no direction. Where am I supposed to go? What am I supposed to do? Also there's permadeath so if you die you lose your character and everything even though you can buy a house to store 8 items for your next character. The dungeons basically expect you to never get hit by the boss or anything because you don't regen HP and healing items are very rare. Not sure if I can recommend this but if you want to buy it I wouldn't stop you.
Even though the point&click control is less precise, and I would love to see a D-pad or joystick with buttons. This is exactly the game I was looking for. Amazing unique artstyle, "zelda - link to the past" like combat, dungeons and lovely minimal mysterious dialogue. You fill in the storyline with your imagination
