I would have at one time rated this app decently highly(maybe a 4). But something happened with their rights to songs and it went from having many interesting songs to play along to by actual bands to having almost nothing of interest. When I reached out to support they said it's an issue they are working on, but know that if you pay for this app/service you may lose the songs your interested in or they may not even exist in its current state even with Backstage Pass.
limited learning experience my 5 year old likes the app but it's more of a game than a true learning experience and they don't seem to represent learning or reading music at all. it's basically guitar hero on a real piano or keyboard. fun, but not a comprehensive learning experience. Competitor apps, even for young age group, do a better job at introducing core aspects of piano learning
While trying to play with the app, the app will stutter and not register the note being played, and tell the user that they have missed the note. This timing issue is incredibly frustrating for the user. This is the case for both the iPad app and android app .
The app has excellent learn material for beginners but I'm hoping it'll updated with more video lessons, maybe how to play a few songs. So it can be on par with the guitar app.
