The day was coming to an end. Catherine was beginning to wake up. As always, the first thing she noticed upon opening her eyes was the smell of dampness in the basement. It didn't bother her much; she had grown used to it over the decades, but she always noticed it upon waking. She lived in a small room in the basement of an abandoned house. A homeless person had once lived here, so there was some furniture in the room, and the walls were partially covered with old, worn wallpaper, behind which she could sometimes hear the rustling of insects. Fully awake now, Catherine stretched like a cat and sat up on the mattress. She wasn't sure what she would do today. Her thirst for blood, which she occasionally experienced, was not particularly bothersome at the moment. She had gone hunting the night before, so she could live peacefully for the next few days. Turning slightly to the left, she noticed she was not alone in the room; a cat was sitting next to her, intently watching her. Catherine loved cats more than anyone else in this world; she trusted them. There had been many in her life, which had already spanned nearly five hundred years. Catherine had long since stopped naming them because naming a cat made it harder to lose them later. The cat stood up and stretched, just as Catherine had, then walked over to her. "You and I are alike," Catherine said, getting to her feet as well. "Another day lies ahead of us. Let's go, it's already dark. It's time to go outside." The two of them headed for the exit...

Now Im not saying its a great game but you can give 5* for the $1 price. The controls are weird and Im already confused trying to figure out how to use the cat food I got. It is kinda neat in some ways, theres lots of story content and the setting is creepy so it plays well with the idea that your a vampire waking up after a long nap. I think it could have used a bit more work with the inventory for sure. Theres no descriptions or anything. The quest area is the same, it lacks details.
I really like point and click adventures and this seems to fit nicely into that category. Graphics aren't great but it gives it a retro feel. Unfortunately, I can't play it! The screen is too dark, and even turning up my brightness doesn't help much. Plus doing that kills my tabs battery. Can you add like a gamma adjustment to the settings? Please? I'd like to play your game...
Really liked it at first. But without a walkthrough you get stuck and combing over every building isn't working, yes I watched videos, but nope. Stuck. Also keeping note of the locked doors with a messy, confusing map. 6 hours every day is lame and the running is bugged. You are often left walking only. Picking up animal parts is slow. Animation sound patch notes are visible sometimes. I'm left disappointed because I can't finish and I wasted my time.
nice, but buggy. playing right along, and finally felt like progress was being made. then it gets stuck on a loading screen for no reason whatsoever. uninstall/reinstall--same loading screen. otherwise, neat game with old school computer game style roleplay story, which you solve puzzles to complete. i like all of the focus on cats.
