This app supposedly offers patterns, frames, multiple cropping options, the ability to completely remove certain features from a photo, and professional filters. The version I downloaded only offered the basics of adjusting (warmth, saturation,etc), the "lasso" object erasure which just blurs whatever you circle into the rest of the photo, a "clone stamp" which is supposed to allow you to double something and put it somewhere else, and that was it. The "tutorial" doesn't tell you how to use it.
Constant Crashing. The app seems to have some really neat tools for near precision tweaking. Unfortunately, I can never get a photo finished. You save progress as you edit. Somewhere along the way the app will decide to close. When I reopen the app and select continue, it begins opening the last photo I was working on then close again. So far, I've only completed one photo edit that was adjusted solely for testing purposes and it took several tries. I'm using a Pixel 8 Pro, Dec 2024.
Still a great editor. Others have more filters and stuff and fluff but when it comes to tuning a photo, this was my favorite. I'm disappointed that you still can't apply the tilt shift and fog filters by brushing them on like you can with the others. I asked the developers about this years ago. That would really add a lot more capability and I would add another star.
Always loved this app, but for months now, I can no longer even save anything, as it goes through the motions, but when you look in Google photos, or even the Handy photo gallery, nothing is ever there..... Uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared storage.... If I could give 0 stars, I would as this is a major function of the app.
