its a really great app. im a long time user but there are a couple things that bother me or I don't understand. I bought access to the mature setting years ago and now I need to pay a subscription just to have the ai remember all story cards with enough context. the story cards used to not be an issue I tried champion level but I still only have 4k context even though large dynamic says 8k so I don't where I'm going wrong there.
The app is very fun. On the free plan, you have an AI storyteller that can be a bit janky and sometimes you have to remind it, but AMAZING for being free. With paid plans you can get more in depth AI with better memory. There are some bugs, but there are so many more stories and situations; even make your own! The dev team is usually pretty fast to squash major bugs when they come by. Amazing for free, amazing paid. Good app; NO ADS!
It's pretty cool as far as interactive storytelling goes, but so far it's not seeming to be anything like a game. The memory is incredible in some aspects, but other times it will completely forget things like items you have or predicaments you're in. It's nice if you're trying to write a story you also play out, but at times it feels like work.
I do pay for this app, it's probably the only one I am happy to have a subscription to, but you really don't need one now as they have great AI and and hiccups can be easily fixed with an adjustment to their settings, I think this is probably the best AI roleplaying app out there. my only gripe about it is that the community tends to make things for men, completely forgetting that there are probably women on the app who don't want to write a whole detailed story for the AI to go off of. 9.5/10
