2026 edit: Coming back to this game after playing the pc counterpart is insane. Everything that is standard QoL on the pc version is a "premium" feature for the mobile game, so you'll have to pay for that. Sure the game is "free" but anyone who pays will get approximately 300% more loot and xp than you. And have the ability to reset their stats or spells without paying for (surprise) a ONE TIME USE item to do so instead. This is so incredibly greedy lol.
This most recent update was absolutely amazing for the mobile experience in my opinion and has brought some life back to the game for me. Great job, Ankama. Edit: the game is still great, but there must've been some patches sometime in the last few months that really destroyed my frame rate on my s20+. It just drops, constantly. Most notably in the back or when I try to put something but for sale, but happens frequently when battling or changing maps. Sometimes freezes which requires a restart.
I've barely started playing and I'm already starting it out at a 5. You get a pretty large selection of races to choose from, which are quite customizable, as you get to choose the color pallet of body and starting clothing. Each race is assigned to a class, and some are pretty unique. Bonus points to the fact that there's a that's essentially a cat furry, and their class is one of the more unique ones. It's a warrior gambler, who seems to have some special attack effects that are random. Cool!
This is a good app for those trying to avoid the fake clicker mmo games being mass produced today. This game relies on classic old school turn by turn battles that require some effort and strategy. There is a huge world to explore, many classes to play, lots of quests, an intricate crafting system based not only on drops from fights but also gatherable resources. This is a good game for people who actually want to play a game, and put some effort into it. If you're expecting click on a quest marker and auto run, gameplay, this real mmo is not for you.
