I enjoyed it, albeit very long, and that's not really a complaint just wish there was a progress indicator. Also, the HOP scenes where you have to collect parts, they're black on black, almost impossible to tell what you have to collect, some of the puzzles lack clear instructions what needs to be achieved, and using/placing inventory items it's restricted to a very precise Small spot, if I'm in the right area should work, often times I had to use a hint to be shown exactly what I tried.
Overall one of the better hidden object games I've played. I like the steampunk theme, and it worked really well here. The story was pretty cool too. That's hard to manage for this style of game. Kudos for that! UPDATE: Started Ink's story and the torn up schematics puzzle glitched and wouldn't let me move any of the pieces, and then locked me out of progressing after the game decided that one glitch wasn't enough. Worked perfectly fine up to this point. Had to completely start over.
It's a decent game, stories and graphics are nice. I did have a problem with the map in the bonus puzzle, it did not want to work. I'm glad it did not stop me from progressing through the game. The bonus level was extremely short only took me about 20 minutes to beat. The puzzles were easy and I wish they were more challenging.
04/17/2020 VERY VERY SHORT. Definitely not worth the price. Still gave three stars rather than less because it's NOT a flipping energy game. 07/23/2024-still boring, sorry. Can also be frustrating because OFTEN you may be confused why an object isn't 'working' when it's just because it wasn't placed in the exact, and sometimes odd, spot needed to register. There are several hidden object irritations; but my reviews are mainly to remind me I've played already.
