Fairly engaging . $ gouging , pushes via frustration to spend , and hard paths ( ie, you think you buy all the levels but you need to fork extra for night missions and geography . I understand devs need to make a buck , but it's coercive . Also , AI is frustrating - especially the friendlies side which keeps budging in your cross-hairs and also taking your kills after you've ground your target to 1% armour left lol . Overall , enjoyable and light fun , abstracting the above.
I'm disappointed. This could have been a great single player tank battle game if the devs had just stuck to their guns. The plane, car and boat sections ruin the game because they just don't feel good to handle. There should be separate control options for the plane because it's literally unplayable with the gyro. The tank upgrades are useless because you can't use them in the campaign. Also the reloading time for the tank cannon is longer than it should, making the shooting a complete grind.
UPDATE: Force close and clear cache fixes full grey screen. (issue still exists as of 21-12-2021) No visual indication when you'll get a penetrating shot. Also where are the secondary MG guns? Improvements could be added here. Love the realistic tanks and settings. Buildings can be demolished and sometimes wildlife is seen. Tiger tanks are just like in real life tough to defeat with Sherman's and other light/medium tanks. Features controller support.
This is by far the best tank game on mobile. I remember playing this on my iPad many years ago, I was surprised to see it on Android. This game still has some of the most beautiful graphics on mobile to date. My only complaint is that the Africa campaign sucks because it has buggy hit detection for some reason.
