Amazing game that I would recommend to anybody trying to kill time. There are so many things to do and you will start to learn how to play this game after a few hours minimum. I can easily lose track of time by trying to obtain achievements and complete storylines. However, like many other people say, I really wish there was some endless mode to this game. It stops you from playing once you level up lots of skills and get many items. Hopefully the DLC can make up for it, I will try to get it.
I don't know if it's because the game isn't finished or it's made to be like that, I finished my first play through and it felt very disatisfying. It was fun at first but the story didn't really progress anymore after a certain point and then I reached the "end" which is page 800 and made me restart. I played for the story, not to go around choosing whether I want to help someone or not. If helping these NPCs would actually foward my story progress then I wouldn't mind. It's mostly RNG too.
Overall I'd say it's a pretty straightforward game, but too randomized. 90% of the events either require money or strength, and when they happen back-to-back, you can run out quickly or have no options. Plus when trying to advance the storyline, due to the unreliability of the events, your character won't have what's needed to keep going. Other then that it feels like an actual narrative dungeon experience. Hopefully more choice in your upbringing and origin is allowed early game.
A great game 9/10, I recommend trying it. The ads are incorporated into the game so well and it keeps you immersed in the story. You have so many choices its pretty unbelievable. Theres many suspensful, sad, and funny moments, it really keeps you wanting more. The only thing i feel is lacking, is a way to re-read or save a past story that you like. I also wished that they would let you keep playing and solve all the mysteries, but you have to restart. I guess its part of the experience.
