I'm revisiting this game after about a year and I love the story! it's very fun, well written and has amazing love interests! but the only issue I have is that the game keeps crashing and the characters disappear every few minutes and that I have to exit the game each time it crashes. overall a great game, I just can't get far in the story without it crashing.
The story and art is good, but the fact that ALL of the dialogue costs coins + the game barely gives you opportunities to obtain them for free feels like an attempt to force players into spending money on the game. Between that and the UI being a little janky, the game is a bit of a let down.
I play a lot of these kinds of games. But even by mobile dating sim standards, this one is too... greedy. The setup is complicated, everything costs something, the best clothing options are locked behind paywalls, and it's just... it's a shame. From the little I've played, the art and story and characters are great. I don't give up easily, I'll grind and scrape whatever resources I can if I think it's worth it. Unfortunately, this one isn't worth it for me.
Nostalgic, but can use some improvements... I played the original MCL back when it first came out and absolutely loved the game, still do, and I love this one, too. However, I've noticed that there is a lot of lagging, pages that won't show up or are all black, and as of right now I've watched four ads in a row only to get an "invalid ad token" message so I can’t continue the story at the moment. (And I know you can buy AP, I've spent a somewhat intensely vast amount this week. 😅)
