A good game for learning chess, but most things require login and whenever I try to create account it says "something wrong" no matter what I do or change. Their is no way to copy or past passwords. Due to which it is impossible to use randomly generated passwords. And to save the password somewhere. For me It's a 5 star worth app only if above issues are resolved
I'm not sure where you report bugs, so here goes: if you watch a video series, the move list doesn't show variants and sub variants properly. Instead, the moves are shown as one line, with move numbers going into hundreds by the end of the video. Edit: I saw the contact email below and sent a report. Otherwise not a bad app, seems thoroughly updated from the previous version.
Much better interface than the previous version. I'm waiting on the tablet version of this app. While it's just recently released, a few bug fixes as listed by other reviewers could make take this app to the top spot over lichess and it's main competitor. Personally I'd be more inclined to sign up for a premium account if the tablet version (properly modified for tablets) is bug free and carries the same interface. As it stands this version trumps the old version.
An alleged "upgrade" to the previous chess24 app, which had some bugs (eg the engine would often refuse to start when analysing puzzles). The solution in the new app? Remove the functionality so there are no bugs in that area! Also, the puzzle functionality and user interface is not as good as it was in the previous version. Hence 1 star. It's a pity, because it had the makings of a great app, and I can't believe that the bugs were too difficult to fix.
