The game is fun and has hours of content and lots of secrets and depth, that adds replayability, but I've experienced many game breaking bugs, such as my save files becoming corrupted and unable to load, and even needing to redownload the game, which results in a complete loss of progress. Also, be aware that in order to bind an account, you must first make and log in before purchasing the full version. If you purchase the full version before logging in with an account it will not bind.
Very innovative and interesting game. You will need a few tries at the beginning to figure out the mechanics, but once you do, the gameplay feels like the combination of old school Final Fantasy exploration with tactical turn base combat. The game also doesn't do "pay to win" or "pay wall". The creator simply wants to tell a story about ancient China Kung Fu story through a game.
4 playthroughs, 2 currently save locked at 'loading', a look at the steam community shows a known bug in mid-late game that has basically locked me out of 2 40+h games. That said, this game does scratch an itch I've been looking for and the price is well worth the amount of content. I just wish there weren't so many bugs and devs supported the game m9re
I compare World of Kungfu to how people see Star Wars- it would be good of only it was good. The seeds are all there. This thing has exactly what I want in a game. Genuinely branching storylines, choices that legitimately matter, stats go up fun stuff, and it would be so good (I'd still be playing it) if it were actually good. It's buggy- game breakingly so in some places. Translation flat out doesn't work in some places. As it is, I don't think it's worth paying for.
