figured I would get it but the sync issues are terrible and after I set it all up, it all vanished. I had a back up but it didn't matter. Then I tried to uninstall it and reinstall and start over and it was having issues installing. Gave up and removed. Glad it had a trial period. Next I will try the Touch portal since it's cheaper. I thought the name elgato would mean something with how everyone hyped them but no.
It was all good at first. I had a little problem with getting some plugins to work, but I finally got my setup just right. After that, boom! My mobile device connectivity started getting finicky, so I disconnected my devices and tried to reconnect them. But now I can't get any mobile devices to connect to my PC, even after trying all the troubleshooting suggestions. 🙃 And whenever I try to get in contact, I'm just sent back to the page of troubleshooting recommendations that haven't worked.
When the IOS v2.0 was released I was hoping the Android version was close behind, apparently not. So like many others, I have been waiting a long time for the android V2.0. I'm glad it has arrived. Having an 8x8 screen is nice and when I can get the Split Screen to work having the additional 8x8 screen. Reaching out to customer service I found out that due to my tablet has PC mode, which interferes with the app. So, I take it out of PC mode when using the app and all is well.
Really love it. Better than the competition. Worth the money. I've tried others - this one is easier to set up, more reliable, and easier to configure. One problem (worth a star). There are situations where I'd love to be able to use it (work especially, or public wifi - cafe's etc.) and I can't because of network settings. I'd love a good, reliable USB option. Even if I could get this to work in a Cafe setting, a USB option would add security. Thanks Elgato!! Awesome.
