It's a great game that you can play with others as well as the AI. Too many devs sacrifice AI opponents, but this is fine example of it working. You can play with other humans, a mix of human and MP, but if you're solo you can play the game as well as scenarios. If you enjoy strategy games driven by resources, opponents, and sometimes the randomness of card draws, give it go. It keeps track of a lot of things for you, unlike the board have, and the most aged thing is not a great tutorial.
Game itself is good. If you like complex economy board games, you'll like this. Connecting and loading online game can sometimes take minutes instead of seconds. Shouldn't need to load the online lobby to get to your games in progress (would like less clicks to get into your online game). Notification and game status bar/button doesn't update even though you were just in the game.
This was possibly the best online version of a beloved board game that I had ever tried. However, in an online game the app has gotten into a weird state causing it to crash every time I try and open it. I can't even forfeit the game so it looks like it will forever stay in the online games list. I will update this to 5 stars if they ever fix this. update: doesn't crash any more
Fantastic adaptation of a great board game. The online options are great, and the tutorial does a great job teaching you how to play. The online mode does suffer from numerous technical problems: the servers aren't stable and I often have issues connecting, the push notifications for your turn only work about 10% of the time, and the on screen keyboard won't often render when i try to send someone a message unless i completely close the game and re-open it.
