I really love this app! However, one small problem crept into my mind: its really hard to get hearts and sapphires, and because of that, it makes this game very similar to other competitors. If it was easier to get hearts (and I mean MUCH easier), I feel like it would make the game much more playable. Other than that, this app is amazing!
The app only works sometimes, and the stories are so low quality but require that you pay for any and every extra dialogue choice. it railroads you into having only one free dialogue choice so you really don't have any freedom in the stories. the conversion rate for in game currency is also abhorrent. The stories have so many grammatical and spelling errors it actively makes me refuse to spend any money on it at all.
I have watched this app go from absolutely amazing in ways that had me showing it to others and urging them to join, to slowly watching the rewards get less and less. we went from being able to get 120 gems on the 7th day, to 50, and now down to nothing at all. so many games have been discontinued, dropped, or gone up in price. while I understand that the authors and artists do need to make their money somehow, the app now being pay to play has ruined the experience entirely.
The heart mechanics, while interesting, are frustrateting. And of the few stories I've started, none have been my cup of tea personally, but if your into very fast paced, more explicit romance this is the place for you. however, I have equally as many points of praise as I do criticism, the art of beautiful and there is such a wide variety of stories that I can't possibly write off the whole app just yet, especially when I enjoyed Arcana so much.
