About this app
This app allows you to interact with the NightOwl sensor that measures signals from your index finger with a small light sensor to check if you have sleep-related breathing disorders.
You can set up the test in a few minutes using the in-app instructional videos. Wear the sensor for the prescribed number of nights to complete the test.

This was a much easier way to get tested. No wires or tape to keep things attached. I got a bad rash from the wristband on the original kit and had to drive far to return the kit. This one is done on an app and can be reused for up to 10 years no returning and disposable. Sticks on your index finger and you do not notice it.
Does Not Work. Last night the app itself froze and it would not respond this morning. It would not stop recording so I closed the app and re-opened it. Once I did that I was able to stop recording. Then I get an error message stating that it didn't record because the sensor wasn't connected even though I followed the set up instructions perfectly. I've had 1 successful night out 5 recording data for this test and ive done the exact same thing every night for the test. So it's definitely not me.
❤️ this option for a sleep study! I believe this is more accurate due to home environment. Completing a sleep study at an office is more like a stay at a hotel. Especially, if you have pets that wake you up in the middle of your sleep. Being able to do this at home is wonderful! Only issue I have is how we use a piece medical tape on the device to be strapped onto your finger. It should be more like a pulse oximeter probe where it is strapped on vs the big bulky box.
App is very unstable and keeps glitching out an recording when I don't want it too. Now Daybreak is saying that that can't find record of the first test I took last night but the Night owl support team is telling me that it was completed successfully. I will happily change this review if the app gets fixed or we find a solution. - The app worked and everything was resolved. Thanks night owl.
