I installed this to have a reference for Italian words I don't know. Maybe this app is good for that, but as a dictionary it sucks. Not one word in ten is recognized, the controls are completely counterintuitive, pronunciation doesn't impress me. Uninstalling.
I paid for the upgrade and the ads are still playing. I uninstalled and reinstalled, then it worked properly so I changed my review. All good now!
The pronunciation section at the end of the learning session DOESN'T WORK....I press the microphone icon and speak - it just flashes from green to red and back again and doesn't do anything, doesn't move me on to the next word, nothing....I keep trying with the same result, and there seems no way of manually moving to the next word..... DISAPPOINTING as SPEAKING THE WORD CORRECTLY is IMPORTANT
I find the app very quick and easy to use. But the best thing about this app is how the designers of it have made it such fun to use. The exercises are very well thought out, too, as they offer the learner the opportunity to both practice and improve their new linguistic skills in a new language as they progress through the tutorial. Fantastico!
