This game has great bones. There's a TON of content, the combat is satisfying, and progression is good. However, it really needs balancing; there is an objectively best character (paid), several stats and skills don't scale well (esp health), and the pet system feels tacked on. There's a lot of MTXs. The game has 5+ systems, and each one comes with its own perma boost. There's also a battle pass and temporary boost, which is just a subscription. Great game, just needs polish and balancing.
The game itself is good for an idle game, but everything is overwhelmed with ads. You might say, "Why not just pay to remove ads?", to which I'd tell you it's $30 USD!! I know we're all trying to make a living, but $30 is ludicrous to remove ads. That's more than a lot of good games on Meta Quest even cost 🤯. No thanks, Epic Stickman. You can keep your money grab to yourself. Uninstalled.
the game seems cool. I had started hours ago. played. watched a ton of ads. made great progress. got a new hero. bound my account. logged out briefly and then when I logged back in it had erased all of my progress. I contacted support. we will see if they can help me. if not. I will not be playing a game that risks losing everything that easily without a way to get it back.
I really enjoyed the game and would give it 5 stars but almost as soon as I purchased the auto-blessing pack the game stopped fully loading when I tried to open the app. Then once I finally could log in again, all my progress and my purchase was lost and I had to start all over from the very beginning. I tried reaching out to customer support but still haven't heard anything back. Update: I filled out another "contact us" form in game, if the situation gets resolved I'll change my rating.
