ICEY is a 2D side-scrolling action game. As you follow the narrator's omnipresent voice, you will see through ICEY's eyes and learn the truth about her world.

“ICEY is a Meta game in disguise. The narrator will constantly urge you in one direction, but you must ask, "Why? Why am I following his directions? Why can't I learn the truth about this world and ICEY's purpose here?" Fight against his tyranny, and uncover what's really going on for yourself!

A lot more than meets the eye, this game actually requires multiple play throughs to get the full story. Unlike with other narrator driven titles, DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING. I wont go into detail but it suffices to say that many seem to think this is a short game when it is anything but, there are MULTIPLE weaving story lines that make up the full story and if you do not stray from the beaten path (sometimes to an absurd degree) you won't get the full experience. Hint: the definition of insanity
This game is basically if The Stanley Parable was a 2D sidescrolling hack-and-slash game. Controls were a bit finicky at times and it seemed a tad bit short for my taste (sure, you can reset the game after getting all the achievements, but what's the point of replaying the game if you know the ending?), but I'd say that it's still worth the money just for all the meta commentary and fourth wall breaks (and lack of microtransactions, which is a big plus) in this game.
I downloaded this game months ago off Aptoide since it looked interesting. I found it fun, yet was challenging for me at the time, thus I stopped playing it. I noticed this game was on sale, so I decided to buy it and try it out again. This time, I decided to play it on hard, and while it's still difficult, but the more you practice, the more you get the hang of it, and I soon became engrossed in the game; wanting to venture on to find Icey's true identity, as well as frankly annoy the narrator.
Ok so I don't usually purchase games & honestly bought this on a whim but since I've owned it for a little over a year...my god do i love it. Challenging enough but not too hard that you give up. Attention grabbing story. Plus the little easter egg the developer hides & surprisingly enough the multiple endings this game has....for a mobile game. Just amazing. Beautiful animations and stunning graphics included just makes this all the better. Buy & try it, you won't regret it. I definitely didn't
