[edit: Played for well over two years, they made plenty of updates, but Flare gets greedier as time goes on. Don't chase the carrot, this game is boring now] Long time player, first time writer. Lots of reasons to get this game. Strategy matters, time spent matters, but money also matters. You can easily spend a lot, but trust me it's only worth it much later on. Don't spend a dime until you've played for a year, and you'll enjoy it much more.
Great fun experience, very few kids playing the game, which is a bit wierd, but there are a lot of fun alliances (Running With Swords). The gameplay is easy, the tutorial is very thorough and the developers do a good job listening to free players like myself. Any reviews that say that Flaregames only updates based on the spenders, that is false. Great game! I would advise installing!
I've been a long time player just coming back after a year or two. I used to love this game and still do. I'm currently using new Samsung S10 with latest update 5/4. Getting issues playing this game. I sometimes cannot tab on my moves. It will sometimes respond but takes at least a few seconds which basically already killed you in game. Happens way too often. Very very annoying. Also, my character moves by itself, almost like a stuck joystick on a controller. Besides that, great game!
Well, I haven't played a game like this on my phone ever. The idea behind it is simple enough and yet it leaves you with this desire to upgrade. That desire usually rears it's ugly head in the form of IAPs, which can start out not costing much, but end up with you spending a lot of money. It is of course your own free choice, so it can be helped. The game is fun and reminds me of a couple games mashed together.
