Puzzles are easy, ads are plentiful. It's $4 for ad-free, but there's only ~2 hours worth of puzzles so it's not worth it to me. However, the adds go from every three puzzles, to every puzzle, to IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PUZZLE. It also uses AI art, which is already a negative right off the bat but I waa desperately bored. I've got ~20 minute of actual game play and the rest has been ad time. Lame.
The puzzles in this game are truly incredible. They are challenging, but not so hard that I can't eventually figure them out. The solutions are always very satisfying and scratch an itch in my brain. This is a really solid game. The one reason it's not getting the full five stars is the insane amount of ads. The ads often pop up with really small close out buttons that end up sending me multiple tines to the Google store or to a website, and when I'm able to close it, there's another behind it
okay puzzles but the ads are horrendous. shows you a 30 second unskippable ad then redirects you to the store then you go back to the app and close the ad and it pops up ANOTHWR ad. Gross. Also, theres no good hint option, you watch an ad and then it just gives you the answer. the alternative is it tells you what the letters MIGHT be really fast which isnt usually helpful. lose lose situation. something that lines up a piece maybe would be better.
You can't even get through the initial load screen without an ad popup. It forces you to touch a button at the top to skip the ad and move on to the game. Then it doesn't give you the option to access the settings to even find out if there's a way to pay to get rid of ads, and you're stuck playing the first part with an ugly banner at the bottom ruining what looks like an otherwise lovely game. I uninstalled it after the first few minutes.
