It does what it says -- creates a photo sphere 360. But the stitched output of the 26 photos is only 3584x1792, much lower resolution than we want, especially considering the very high resolution our S22-Ultra camera can produce. This seems unacceptably low. Also, stitching is only "so so", and I shot with phone on a tripod to try and make its job as easy/flawless as I could. Wanted to love this but was disappointed.
Edit: Unfortunately, since I've last used this, they've added intrusive full-screen ads after viewing a sphere. I'd be willing to pay a dollar or two to remove ads, but they want that MONTHLY. Nice try, sleazebag. Well put together, easy to use, no ads, and better than the 5 or 6 other options I tried.
It's a nice app but after you fake the first photo the image starts shifting to the left or right by itself and by the time you are done with 50+ photos every photo is shifted slightly and the result is poor. And this shifting of the image while taking photos sometimes happens to the left sometimes to the right and I don't think it is my device. And I hope that there is way to fix this problem.
If you are very careful to take the pictures needed from the same point in space, the result is absolutely perfect. The problems are after taking the picture: the download is poor quality, while if you upload it directly to google maps from the app, it becomes available to see on the map but it has no place associated and you cannot tag it afterwards. If one of these two issues is solved, this app will deserve 5 stars.
