Great game. However, I ran into a bug with the Dark Terra Adventure, where if you select a 5 star unit from the far right side of the shop while combat is occurring, the game will freeze and force you to force-close the game. After getting back into the game, the shop lists that hero as purchased, but the character does not show up in the character inventory. This locks you out of getting that unit while still paying for it. This has happened 3 times now over the last three hours.
The timer ruins the game, it's fine when in combat, but when trying to arrange your team and learn the evolutions, it completely kills it. There are a few levels where I did not get 3 stars because I did not beat it within the 12 min time line. Despite the game even saying in the top left, I beat it in 7. I don't see the point t of having a summoning thing or leveling your characters or putting relics on them... really, why do you have them if you can't use them in the quests?
This game is fantastic. It's like Team Fight Tactics only better. And I haven't had to think so hard and so fast in a phone game ever. The game wears me out to play, in a very good way. Learning and processing the dozens of combinations, the items, and how you want to advance your troops all under a punishing time limit? Oh it's good. And there's Co-op and PvP too. And the game is generous enough with its gems to not force you to feel like you need to spend money.
I will say the game was fun... However, it is pretty complex and the tutorial fails to prevent you from making big mistakes early on. I ran out of gold and when I checked about buying some, it was 3000 crystals which is 79.99 in game. After that I just uninstalled. I also didn't like that there was no clear guide on how to merge certain units. Some levels required Rune Guard, and even with the guide open, I never could. Very unfriendly and unforgiving for new players to try and learn. D+
