The game is really fun. In the sense that you have so much to do. You can do pretty, or should I say fairly well without spending any money. I am only about 3 days in. They are not cheap with providing resources. So far, The only issue is the extremely high rate of repeat characters. At least there is an Ascension feature. After a few more weeks, I believe I can boost this up to 5 stars.
I'm still learning the game, but so far, it seems pretty good. I can't tell if there are "guilds" where you can team up with other players, but so far, just the single player campaign is pretty easy. It's definitely an IDLE type AFK game in some aspects which is nice. IAPs are not intrusive and so far, I've been able to upgrade to level 20. Not sure if a pay-wall exists or not, but at least it's a pretty casual game to play which is a nice switch from other games.
Most F2P friendly game I've played in a long time. High value in game terms for the money you spend. Game is fun, fast moving, and the idle feature guarantees you get a little better every day regardless of your activity level. Visuals are fun and well rendered. The only negative is the game events, which lack creativity and are mostly just annoying. overall, not a bad game, but not great, either.
Zzzz. Accurately sums it up. I've played a variety of these 'strategy' games and I really wanted to like this one. The content is just lacking, as are the avenues by which one can incrementally improve their squad. Play it for two days and you've seen the game in full, now just rinse-wash-repeat (or pay) to get past challenging levels so you can do it all over again. Must have paid so much for the TWD rights that they had to cut corners during planning and development.
