I really want to be able to push and pull with this app. We've got artists who use Android tablets for drawing sprites for our project, and it'd be really nice if they could push their art to the main/branches. Instead we have to email, or use Google drive, and that'll be our route until we can find something that'd work. For just reviewing and looking, the app works great.
Very barebones, and just dissimilar enough from the website to make it kinda frustrating to use for more than quick comment replies, when they can actually be made from your phone in the first place. Otherwise, it is at least a bit less heavy than the website, but it can _still_ bring my S24 Ultra to its knees on long issue threads, big PRs, or large code files. Navigation is also less than ideal. Basically, it feels like a good effort, but beta quality at best.
Overall the app is decent. It runs fast, and it makes access to notifications quite easy. However, there are a few very basic features missing and their absence is baffling. First of all, there needs to be a way to search the current file. Some source files are 1,000+ lines, and there's no way to navigate them at all. Regex search would be particularly nice. Second of all, there needs to be an 'Open in Browser' option on every single page.
Authentication hasn't worked in months. Whenever I log in on a browser, it prompts me to approve the login using my mobile app, which in the past has worked fine. But now when I tap the notification, it just says, "No login requests found" or something to that effect. For now I'll just be using the mobile phone number method for 2FA, but now this app is even more useless to me than it already was. Might just uninstall at this point.
