After the first 10-15 levels, it starts getting a lot of bugs. Visual glitches with the hero, freezing mid-battle, etc. It also resets entirely if I get a call, respond to a text, or even check a notification while in-game. The last straw was constant "network connection error" pop-ups, while my phone had full connection, often in the middle of a level. Why do I even need constant connection to wifi mid-level?
I think this game is fun. it's a good match 3 game with rpg elements and gacha mechanics mixed with a smidgen of tower defense. overall,it's pretty decent. NOW the bad. the ads.. WAAAY too many ads for minimal rewards. the gacha system drop rates are ABYSMAL! at least for me , and I've sunk a couple of dollars into the game. there is a pity system in place , so after so many summons your guaranteed a "epic" character and 98% of the time, that's what happens. wait until the pity party happens
Overall, I enjoyed the game — it has engaging mechanics and looks great. There are no forced ads, and if you want extra resources by watching ads, it’s completely up to you whether to watch them or not. What I didn’t like is that there are too many types of currencies and resources, each section of the game having its own. After a certain point, progress slows down significantly, and you either have to spend money or replay the same level 50+ times. Dreaming about the original Ro on mobile 🥲
The idea of the game is fun. I actually really like the gameplay loop. Unfortunately, it has several battle passes, limited characters aren't worth pulling for if you're free to play as you'll never be able to rank them up to make them useable since you can't get enough resources to pull multiple copies, and every 'free' option is locked behind watching ads. Which you can, you guessed it, pay to not have to watch. I plan to keep playing, but I'm not expecting much.
