Awesome game. The characters are amusing, enjoying their continuity. Clue placements are spot on. Loved that the puzzles made you think, nothing too easy but always fun. The following the grey line puzzle took forever because I couldn't see past my nail, which are short for typing. I dropped a point in control rating for that, sorry. It was a great annoyance. Maybe you could consider adding a check point or two along the grey path puzzle. Overall, loved it. Am looking forward to the next one.
I was excited to see a Haiku escape game. I have loved every one of the past ones and looked forward to this. I am only on Chapter 4 and I'm a little disappointed. I enjoy having to get items from different "rooms" to work on a clue. This game tends to be more of a 1 room at a time escape room game. The clues also seem to be very vague. I'm still moving forward but I've needed the walkthrough more than I wanted to use them. Thank you to those who post the walkthroughs.
Overly obscure clues. Haiku games are my favorite pastime on my phone, but this one routinely provided excessively complex clues that were so vague and labyrinthine, it simply sapped the fun out of playing. I understand the developers' goals are to make money through the purchase of stars, but the expectation of purchase in this game was set too high. It'd be better to have a cost for the download upfront than making puzzles so difficult, they becomes less enjoyable.
Another great Adventure Escape game from Haiku. Basically free to play. The ads are not frequent or intrusive to the game. I think most can play without need to purchase hint points. I must admit I used a walkthrough to save time on some really long puzzles and frustration on some clues I could not find. In last section, there is need to follow a fine path by tracing; if you stray, you must start over. I found my finger was blocking my view, so I used a stylus; problem solved. On some earlier games, if I stopped in mid-chapter, I had to begin that whole chapter over. On this one, I lost either no progress, or only one or two quick and simple "moves".
