Hate the app!!!! After the recent update the app keeps requiring a new sign in - so I can't use the navigation on my bike without a stupid ungloving and login every time. Navigation search doesn't turn up things that exist. Using navigation is unsafe - traveling straight on the freeway for 19 miles before my exit, it lists turns approaching every couple of miles or small fractions of a mile so that I am constantly glancing down to monitor the screen to not miss a turn that doesn't even exist.
Downloaded a few years back and only used it successfuly a handful of times.. I've been trying to use the app since last week when I arrived in Sturgis and it won't even open now, it is stuck at the main screen. When trying to plot a trip it will always give you the fastest route (when it opens) and won't allow to plot a scenic or longer route. The app chews threw battery and data like no tomorrow as well.
Simply a joke. I've had my Pan America Special for almost a year now, and it's been a nightmare trying to use the GPS on the bike. The latest version simply crashes and gives constant messages on my phone about "download unsuccessful". I have to uninstall/install the app for it to kinda work for one route. When it does sorta work, it only shows an actual map some of the time, otherwise it's a check board pattern. Love the bike otherwise, but this is absolutely a ridiculous situation. Fix it!!!
I've dropped the score from 4 to 3 stars. After a year of using it, the issue of your bike pics just randomly disappearing is still an issue. Other times, it just doesn't record your miles at all. But the really annoying issue is the fact that there is no real way to communicate with others in the app. There is no notification whatsoever when someone responds to your comments within the app, and they just get buried over time. The only notifications are for harley adds and promotions.
